GEM STONE

Designed to mimic the transmission of light through waves
and evoke the sensation of breathing underwater.
It is designed to give unpredictable projections on walls and ceilings,
to remind the sandy bottom of the sea or the walls of a swimming pool :
Liquid glass, when it’s blown into a mould, forms hollow shapes with stark exterior profile,
while inside the profile is smooth and irregular like a fluid.
This variation in thickness filters the light in unexpected ways, exactly like water does.
Five different sizes of moulds have been created from two similar clay models.

Gem Stone is used either as a single element or in complex compositions,
with or without light.
