Dissertation: The impact of Green Walls and Biophilic Design

on the quality of Human Life

I explored the benefits of plants and natural elements in workplaces, hospitals and public areas.

In the dissertation, I also described the various ways to build a vertical garden and the different types of media used for this purpose. One key feature of my last semester was the analysis of the impact of natural light on the wellbeing and I designed a biophilic chandelier ideal for an office.

Within my studies, I focused on Art History and produced a detailed research on an ancient marquis palace in the centre of Capurso, a small town in the south of Italy. The palace was built around 1556 and then destroyed by fatal events. The research was conducted on site, studying the topography of the urban footprint, and in library archives that recorded the events of the little feud.
